1999

The Establishment of JDM Products Ltd

JDM Products Ltd. was established by Founder and CEO Jonathan Moore and co-founded by Nicola O’Leary. Driven by a shared passion for technology and innovation, the company immediately carved out a niche as a specialist in in-car electronics and vehicle integration systems. In its early days, JDM built its reputation by expertly distributing and installing high-demand products like vehicle alarms, Bluetooth phone kits, central-locking upgrades, and premium in-car audio solutions.

2002/03

Securing Premium Partnerships & Defining VAD

Secured exclusive distribution rights for Monster Products, marking the first international partnership. Simultaneously, established the core Value-Added Distributor (VAD) model, offering training, merchandising, and field support as a central service.

2004/07

Category Diversification & Infrastructure Start

Expanded into connected technology by signing Garmin. This growth led to the relocation to a purpose-built headquarters and warehouse in Bray (2007) and launched the rapid-growth brand Beats by Dr. Dre in Ireland.

2008/11

Excellence in Execution

Multiple industry awards, including Monster International Distributor of the Year (2008, 2010) and DID Electrical Supplier of the Year (2010, 2011), underscoring service reliability and operational precision.

2011

Formal UK Market Entry

Established JDM Products Ltd UK, formalizing the company's geographic expansion and laying the groundwork for a dual-market operation.

2012

Securing Early Wearables Leadership

Signed exclusive distribution agreements with Fitbit and Withings, securing immediate leadership in the emerging wearables and connected health categories.

2013

Doubling Operational Capacity

Expanded into a second warehouse in Bray, effectively doubling operational capacity to support rapid portfolio and market growth.

2015 -19

Sustained Commercial Excellence

Achieved Harvey Norman IT Supplier of the Year for five consecutive years and the Overall Partner of the Year in 2017, reflecting consistent, top-tier performance.

2016/17

Establishment of New Technology Pillars

Secured major brands to build leadership in Smart Home (Ring Doorbell), Health & Fitness (Garmin Wellness), and Performance Gaming (Razer, Corsair, SteelSeries).

2017/18

Exponential Logistics Growth & Category Innovation

Added a third warehouse in Bray to support demand, and expanded into new categories like connected cooking (Meater).

2019

European Expansion & Digital Investment

Appointed Master EU Distributor for Igloohome, expanding operations to over 20 European countries. This scale was supported by hiring the first in-house developer, initiating JDM’s digital transformation for e-commerce and automation.

2021/23

Building a Logistics Campus

The Irish footprint expanded to five interconnected warehouses in Bray. Crucially, a fully-owned UK warehouse was established in Daventry, giving JDM complete control over its logistics across both markets.

2023

Launch of JDM Logistics as a Dedicated 3PL

Formally launched JDM 3PL and Managed Logistics + Finance Services, enabling partner brands to leverage JDM's vast infrastructure, effectively establishing the JDM Logistics division.

2024/25

Major Category and Scale Expansion

Launched the Outdoor Cooking Division (Blackstone, Traeger Grills, Outback BBQs) and secured exclusive distribution for global leaders Ecovacs and Tineco, marking entry into large-scale Smart Home Appliances.

2026

The Formation of The JDM Group

he Company Rebrands to The JDM Group, positioning itself as the Master of Distribution and Logistics/Supply Chain. The Group is structured into three key divisions: JDM Products (Value Added Distribution), JDM Logistics (3PL), and the new JDM Distribution (Managed Logistics and Finance). The new website launch will accompany this strategic rebrand.

We began our journey in 1999 as JDM Products, focused on connecting consumer electronics brands with retailers. Since then the JDM Group has grown and transformed to encompass three divisions: Products, Logistics, and Distribution to better serve the diverse needs of our partners. Our story is one of continuous transformation, driven by the vision to always be at the forefront of the industry.
